Triberg in the Black Forest

Where Germany's highest waterfalls roar - where culture becomes an experience - that's where we invite you to

Triberg in the Black Forest with its diverse recreational opportunities is looking forward to welcoming you!
In the midst of a wildly romantic Black Forest landscape lies the lively town of Triberg with its districts of Nußbach and Gremmelsbach. There is much to experience here:

Germany's highest waterfalls in Triberg are a must-see! Foaming and roaring, the water of the Gutach river falls from a total height of 163 meters into the Triberg basin. On the paths along the multiple cascades you will experience a grandiose natural spectacle.

The waterfalls are accessible all year round and offer an impressive backdrop even in winter. In addition, the waterfalls are illuminated daily from nightfall.

The interactive Triberg-Land shows model construction plants of the company Faller on more than 300 sqm exhibition space. Grab your family or friends and take them on a selfie tour through our new Instagram-Museum Triberg-Fantasy.   Black Forest Instagrammable moments – one stop you’ll want to add to your Insta-feed!

The Black Forest Museum offers a unique feast for the eyes and ears on more than 1,600 square meters. The baroque pilgrimage church with the charming sacristan's house and the magnificent wood-carved town hall are masterpieces of architecture and craftsmanship. Experience breathtaking flight demonstrations and marvel at various birds of prey in the Birds of Prey and Owl Park.

Also worth experiencing is the Black Forest Railway - one of the most beautiful mountain railroads in Europe with 37 tunnels around Triberg.

Fittingly, the Black Forest Railway Experience Trail introduces hikers and walkers of this trail along 16 stations to the history of the construction of the Black Forest Railway and the ongoing operation between Hornberg, Triberg and St. Georgen.
